Clear Alternatives taillights and turn signals are a direct replacement fit to the original stock unit requiring no further modifications.
Most of their clear taillights are a complete unit, this being the lens and housing unit as one sealed piece. The complete taillight assemblies have all been re-designed to include chroming the inside housing unit which makes their products brighter than stock. Clear Alternatives lenses are re-design to achieve the white lens look and not the glass look so you cannot see the bulbs or sockets through the lens. Each taillight is then tested for photometry and luminous measurements to ensure optimal light performance. We now offer a complete LED taillight system comparable to no other. The LED systems are designed using 1" chrome risers with a 2 inch circuit board consisting of 50 LED's incorporated inside each taillight unit. The units are then wired directly to an 1157 or special adapter (Honda applications) which plugs directly into your existing bulb sockets. These LED units are extremely bright. Clear Alternatives was the first in the industry to introduce clear replacement taillights.
